Cirulli Olive Oil
The cirulli mill buys and transforms olives from cultivar coratina oil that is a typical olive variety of the area, rich in polyphenols and with low oleic acidity which privileges the quality of the oil with the best organoleptic qualities.
the production process begins from the harvest of the cirulli family’s olives and from the purchase of olives belonging to small local producers on the basis of a visual examination of the olives quality. once purchased and arrived at the mill, the olives are washed in appropriate washing machines with the aid of water and then milled within 24 hours from the harvesting in order to keep their quality and consequently maintain the olive oil fragrance.

The Cirulli oil mill is currently a S.n.c formed in 2014, to make the purpose of developing the business activity at an industrial level. The company’s activity is the pressing of olives, storage and packaging of extra virgin olive oil. The oil mill Cirulli has been operating in the sector for around 70 χρόνια, when farmer Nicola Cirulli, following his instinct and sensing his own organizational skills, in the 1950 he started his activity to produce extra virgin olive oil from the Coratina variety in Andria, in region of Apulia.
Giuseppe Cirulli son of Nicola Cirulli continues the activity of the oil mill, helped by his sons Nicola and Raffaele, who are starting to bring innovation in making olive oil. The management of the activities of the three leads to the establishment of the current oil mill Cirulli, inaugurating the new headquarters with advanced installations It goes from 10 hectares of land owned to 50 hectares of property.
The Cirulli olive plant established in the Andria region, heart of Murgia, in the northern part of Bari, Apulia, is surrounded by a characteristic grove of olive trees with more than 13,000 hectares of more than 3 million nice olive trees producing Coratina oliveswhich provide the oil with qualities that makes it popular all over the world.
