The name Brecce Rosse is inspired by the particular formation of our soils which, in the range between 500 ו 750 meters above sea level, between Mocaiana and San Marco di Gubbio, are characterized by red, gravel and calcareous soils, particularly suited to the cultivation of olive tree, also by virtue of their excellent sun exposure.
Our extra virgin olive oil, rigorously cold pressed, is obtained from the Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo and the native Borgionavarieties, grown between 500 ו 700 meters above sea level between Mocaiana and San Marco di Gubbio. The peculiarity of these calcareous and gravel soils is the reddish color, hence the name Brecce Rosse .
The history of the oil mill
Passion for the land, for the olive tree and oil come together in Brecce Rosse, the oil mill born in Gubbio in 2017 on the
initiative of two people who were chasing a dream. Our company tells the story of Ulisse Agostinucci, an oil master with over 25 years of experience behind him and of my grandfather, Nazzareno Rogari, a family man with a great entrepreneurial spirit and driven by a love for things well done.Thanks to their commitment Brecce Rosse has become a solid reality in the world of oil production. Combining their experiences, the two founders have created a latest generation oil mill. Today we are a reference point for the production and sale of quality extra virgin olive oil.
