The barriers consist of a highly reflective material that reflects radiant heat rather than absorbing it. They don’t, però, reduce heat conduction like thermal insulation materials.

Radiant heat insulation foil is a highly reflective radiant barrier product that blocks 97% of the radiant heat transfer in the summer and winter.This is the most durable radiant barrier manufactured with a woven polyethylene scrim middle layer for puncture and tear resistance and is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to tear while still easily cut with utility scissors.

Ideal as an attic insulation, for attic floors, attic rafters, storage sheds, pole barns, metal buildings, and as a housewrap. It is lightweight and easy to install and requires no further maintenance.
