Ryoma 1865″ is named after a year when Japanese famous Samurai Mr. Ryoma Sakamoto had beer for the first time in Nagasaki introduced by Scottish merchant Mr. Thomas Blake Glover.
Ryoma 1865 is an ultimate non-alcoholic experience like no other – tasty and extremely healthy, with no purine and no preservatives. Most alcoholic beverages are considered high-purine foods which trigger kidney stones and types of arthritis such as gout, in which our beer contains zero purines. Upon further relentless manufacturing process, we were able to create a 100% malt beverage – reducing the number of calories (15kcal -> 11kcal) and carbohydrates (3.8g -> 2.7g).
There is an varient named “Ninja Lager Non-Alcohol”, different package design with description in English in front and Arabic on the back side. In addition, it is a Halal-certified by Al-Halal Associates Limited.
Ryoma 1865 and Ninja Lager Non-Alcohol also have the Vegan certification by VegeProject Japan.
