Our Quality Standards Green tea is fundamentally different from black tea and Chinese tea. For this reason, we do not sell tea leaves in classic tea tubes or tea boxes. Tea bag type products use air-blocking material rather than paper envelopes. Ons “Matcha” is a representative product of ZENJIRO green tea. We carefully selected the most high quality matcha of Kyoto-Uji’s green tea cultivation, which has a history of over 400 jaar. We made a luxurious matcha powder out of it. It is suitable for matcha drinks and material for confectionary.
Unlike tea that is extracted with hot water, Matcha has the advantage of being able to take all the nutrients contained in the leaves because it is used as powdered tea leaves. Theanine is a component of the umami and has anti-stress action and can be relaxed. Catechin’s taste would be astringent, but its effects such as suppression of blood pressure increase, blood cholesterol controle, blood glucose level control, antioxidant, anti-veroudering, and anti-cancer have been reported.
