Brown rice is made by removing only the “rice husks” of rice harvested from rice. The feature is that there are germ and endosperm and the whole is wrapped in bran. When this brown rice is soaked in water, the germ part at the tip of the rice germinates and becomes a germinated state, which is called germinated brown rice.
The germ and bran, which are normally removed from white rice, are rich in trace components such as B vitamins, vitamin E, and minerals, and are effective in improving metabolism.
