As part of the rare earth group of permanent magnets, samarium cobalt(SmCo) magnets have very high magnetic properties and temperature properties. Their Curie temperature can be as high as 710 zu 880℃, maximum working temperature can be 250 zu 350℃, so this kind of magnets have the best magnetic stability. They include rare earth Sm1Co5 and Sm2Co17 and are referred to as 1:5 und 2:17 Materialien. There’re three different manufacturing processes: sintered SmCo magnet, bonded SmCo magnet, and injection molding SmCo magnet.
