2. Is it noisy when you move around?

Technically yes. A standard wash may cause the internal insulating fill material to clump together during the spin cycle. This
will cause the bag to be uncomfortable and lose its ability to properly keep you warm.

6. Does anyone know if this will get too hot when used in spring and summer? Should I get a warmer rated one?
I would think it depends on your personal comfort zone. I’m from the South, my wife is from the North, and when we slept inside a bedroom in 65-70 degrees, I used the sleeping bag and had to throw on a blanket over it to stay warm, while she slept with a couple of thin blankets.

7. Does the bag open fully so you can use it as a quilt?
Jawohl…the sleeping bag opens all the way and lays flat, like a blanket or quilt.

8. Would you please tell me if I could sleep with my feet outside of the bag (i.e. side only closure)?

I checked my bag and you can open the zipper from either end. Deswegen, you can open the bottom portion to allow your feet to ‘breathe’ while keeping the side zip. I hope this answered your question.
