Our KP series meshes are available in five basic wire types-Monel,Aluminium,TCS(Tinned Copper-clad Steel) and Stainsless Steel. Each has it’s

own specific characteristics but TCS is generally regarded as the most suitable for EMP shielding.

MESH STRIP gaskets are used to provide EMI/EMP shielding and lightning grounding performance for a variety of applications. Various design variables should be considered when making a product selection to ensure optimal performance. These variables are expanded upon in the following text to assist in the design process.

Monel – BS3075 – NA13 (0.11mm diameter)
Aluminium 5056 – AMS 4182 (0.13mm diameter)
TCS – ASTM B520 (0.11mm diameter)
Roestvrij staal – Alloy 304 (0.13mm diameter)
Sn/Ph/Bz- ASTM B520 (0.12mm diameter)
Silicone Sponge – AMS 3195
Silicone Solid – ZZ-R-765
Neoprone Sponge – Mil-R-6130
Neoprene Solid – Mil-R-6855

Tolerantie:
Wire meshes – generally ± 0.8mm on diameter, breedte en hoogte
Linear measurements on gaskets – up to 300mm ±0.8mm, up to 1000mm ± 1.5mm
Sponge and solid elastomers – up to 4.5mm ± 0.4mm, over 4.5mm ± 0.8mm
