Can indicate a poor or bad charging system. Tells whether your battery is holding a charge or not
The meter has easy to read LED segments and connect to your 12 volt system. 

The meter draws nominally 10 ma. and the range is 0-35 vdc.

The switch

Splash proof front and back.   Blue (Red available upon request) Illuminated Waterproof Rocker Switch –SPST. Nylon threaded switch housing mount in a 1-1/8” hole. Can be mounted in panels or dashboards up to 1-1/4” thick with the retaining nut and in panels of unlimited thickness with the mounting plate. Rated for 16 amps at 12 volts.  IP rating 63. Has male ¼” crimp style disconnect terminals. Illumination is low intensity for easier night vision. Three wire connection:

         Black / Green wire goes to negative 12 volt power source.

         Yellow wire goes to one side of the load being switched.

          Red /Brown wire goes the positive side of the load being switched.
