Warm Tips:

1.It takes certain amount of time for the alcohol in stomach to be absorbed into blood. To get a more accurate test result which can reflect the Blood Alcohol Content well, please abstain from smoking and drinking (for at least 20 minutes) before test.

2.While doing breath sampling test, blowing cannot be interrupted (keep blowing about 5s). Blowing time is too short, the alcohol molecules in the blood cannot spread to the lungs completely, then test results will have a big difference from the blood alcohol content.

Q1.What is the main difference between the fuel cell alcohol tester and the semi-conductor oxide alcohol tester?

A:1.The fuel cell sensor material is a chemically-reactive fuel cell type (the sensor sheet reacts with the alcohol molecule to generate a weak current signal), and is the same as the sensor sheet of the high-precision alcohol tester used by the traffic police. Fuel cell sensor processing circuit is complex, but the instrument sensitivity, accuracy, feature recovery speed (characteristic zero speed), stability (characteristic drift), long life, test resuqlts close to police standards.
2.The sensing material of the semi-conductor sensor is a physical semi-conductor oxide SnO2 (inductive alcohol molecule, whose internal resistance value changes), and the overall sensitivity, accuracy, stability (characteristic drift) is smaller than that of electrochemistry, but at a low concentration When the concentration is less than 0.25mg/L, the accuracy is equivalent to that of electrochemistry, which can meet the requirements of the civil grade standard. The semi-conductor processing circuit is relatively simple and small in volume. Compared with electrochemistry, the semi-conductor sensor has a short life. But the price is low, easy to carry, widely used in private civilian grade.


Q2.Why use clear water or non-alcoholic drink before the test?

A:Residues of alcohol in mouth will affect the measured values, to get test results which reflect the human Blood Alcohol content accurately, please rinse out your mouth with water or non-alcoholic drinks to remove the residues of alcohol in mouth before using the unit.

Q3.Why do you test about 20 minutes after drinking?

Q4.Why does the test result fluctuate between two adjacent tests when the same person is tested on the same instrument for alcohol testing?
A:After drinking alcohol, alcohol is absorbed into the bloodstream from the stomach. As time goes by, the alcohol in the blood will be absorbed and digested. Alcohol is metabolized in the liver. Adult healthy liver can decompose about 10mL-20mL per hour of alcohol, so the blood alcohol content (BAC) may fluctuate within a few minutes.

Q5.Two people drink the same amount of alcohol, why is the result of the alcohol test different?
