We still use old Sake brewery House which was built 100+ years ago.
The Wakasa region where Obama City is located has great food resources and clean water and we made sake from the local rice and water.
We made a purchase of rice from the local farmer directly.
Our Sake made by classic sake brewer. Chief TOJI is 89y old has 60+ career. We are inheriting Japanese tradition and culture. Please enjoy our Sake.

We are Sake (=Traditional Japanese alcohol that can be brewed from rice) brewery in the city of Obama, Fukui Prefecture. Our
sake-brand “Wakasa” is made with rice grown by local farmers and water from a river flowing by the brewery in the city of Obama. Inheriting the light body and dryness of the original brand, production of which ceased in 2016, it was rebuild in 2017.
We are a small brewery, so we have a lot of flexibility. Please feel free to contact us for small quantities, original labels and custom-made sake.
