Quartz is the most common mineral found in the earth’s crust. Sand obtained as a result of its natural or artificial crushing is called quartz.
Characteristics and properties of quartz sand


Quartz sand grains can have a diameter of 0.05 mm to 3 مم. Depending on the impurities contained in their composition, the sand can be of different colors. For example, the high iron content gives it a brown color. Rose sand is obtained from quartz containing titanium. Pure, free of quartz impurities, is colorless, or may have a milky tint. The sand obtained from such a rock is pure white.
