Quartz is the most common mineral found in the earth’s crust. Sand obtained as a result of its natural or artificial crushing is called quartz.
Characteristics and properties of quartz sand


Quartz sand grains can have a diameter of 0.05 mm to 3 mm. Depending on the impurities contained in their composition, the sand can be of different colors.
